Clarence E. Raffensperger, 83, of Mount Joy, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was the husband of the late Nancy (Bankler) Raffensperger who passed away on April 14, 2010. Clarence is survived by two children, Clarence “Gene” Raffensperger Jr. of Mount Joy and Patty Raffensperger of Rheems; and a brother, James (Patricia) Raffensperger of Columbia. He was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.

Clarence was a graduate of the former Patton Trade School, Elizabethtown. During his career, he was a master mechanic for the former Williams and Reed Chevrolet of Elizabethtown. He was last employed by Carlos Leffler Inc. He proudly served in the United States Army. Clarence enjoyed helping his son, Gene at his auto repair business.

A Funeral Service honoring Clarence’s life will be held at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Inc. 16 East Main Street, Mount Joy on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11 AM. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home before the service from 10 AM to 11 AM. Interment will follow at Goods Mennonite Cemetery.
